How far is Halse Lodge to Noosa Main Beach?
Halse Lodge is the closest hostel to Noosa Main Beach! It’s less than 500 metres and only takes a few minutes to walk.
Is there luggage storage available?
Yes, we do have a communal luggage room available – this is free of charge, although this room is locked, it is not supervised. We recommend any valuables be places in our Security Lockers for only $2 per use.
How much is the key deposit?
$10 cash deposit required on check in for the key deposit, this is returned once the key is returned on check out.
Will a shuttle bus pick me up from the Noosa Transit Centre?
We have various shuttle buses throughout the day, to find out shuttle bus times – please email backpackers@halselodge.com.au . Alternatively, you can get to our hostel via local bus, taxi, uber or a 15 minute walk.
What time is check in and check out time?
Check in time is from 2pm, Check Out time is until 10am
How close is the nearest supermarket?
Coles & IGA are located near the Noosa Transit Centre and about 15 minutes walk.
How close to Noosa National Park?
The Noosa National Park is only 15 minutes walk away.
How much is the deposit for Surf Board Hire?
Surf Board & Body Board hire are both free activities – however a $100 cash deposit is required for Surf Boards & $50 deposit for Body Boards.
Do you have laundry facilities?
Yes, our self serve laundry is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. To wash is $4, to dry is $4
What time does your backpacker kitchen open?
The Kitchen opens 6.45am and closes at 10.30pm
Is breakfast included?
No, however our restaurant is open from 5pm and we often offer discounts to our inhouse guests. Ask at reception on check in.
Do any of your rooms have ensuites?
No, all of our rooms have shared bathroom facilities.
Do your rooms have Air-Conditioning?
No, all our rooms have ceiling fans.
Do your rooms have lockers?
All of the rooms have 1 locker per person, you will be required to bring your own padlock.
Do you provide linen?
All rooms are provided with bed linen, however will need to bring own towels.
Is your Bar & Restaurant open to the general public?
Yes, we encourage locals to come and have a beer and say hello! We have a delicious and affordable menu!
Is your bar licensed, is it BYO?
No, unfortunately due to liquor licensing our bar is NOT BYO.
Do you have elevators?
Due to being a heritage building, we are unable to modify the building, therefore stair access only.
